Violinist Alejandro Drago returns to his grandmother's city

Drago, Alejandro, in Alcalá

The Mayor of Alcalá de Henares, Javier Rodríguez Palacios, has received Alejandro Drago, a soloist violinist from Complutense roots, who stars this weekend in the performance of the Orquesta Ciudad de Alcalá at the Teatro Salón Cervantes as part of the Festival de Classics in Alcalá.

Drago has explained to Rodríguez Palacios his relationship with the city. His grandmother, Adela Estanislaa Dueñas Guerrero was an Alcaláína and married in our city with a soldier from the Parachute Brigade, Víctor Manuel Martínez Ramírez.

Of this connection with the city of Alcalá de Henares, Víctor Manuel Martínez Ramírez himself documented with photographs and wrote a book.
